CITIZENS' POLICE ACADEMY CLASS #7

| The Russellville Police Department and Logan County Sheriff's Department is proud to announce the seventh Citizen's Police Academy Class. The academy provides an opportunity for citizens' to learn first hand about police and sheriff operations. Students will be provided training similar to actual police enforcement. The training will consist of a series of lectures and simulated activities including: operations & organizations, patrol operations, firearm training, criminal investigations, traffic stops, Criminal Justice System, and more. The academy is a benefit to the community and police department because it builds relationships and creates more informed citizens about the reality of police operations. |

REQUIREMENTS

| Applicants must be 18 years of age, Russellville/Logan County resident or employed in the city of Russellville,
and pass a criminal history background check.

CLASSES
| |
| Classes wil be held every Monday night (6:30 pm to 9 pm) from September 10th through November 12th. All instructors are personnel of Russellville Police Department, Logan County Sheriff's Department, or Criminal Justice System. |
